The Reissa Foundation Launches Matching Gift Campaign to benefit At-Risk Children Served by Children’s Bureau

(Los Angeles, CA)             Children’s Bureau is pleased to announce the launch of a Matching Gift Campaign sponsored by The Reissa Foundation. From August 1, 2020 through October 31, 2020, The Reissa Foundation will match gifts from individuals up to $50,000.

Donors will have the opportunity to double their impact, which is especially important now as low-income families and children are disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Children’s Bureau continues to offer programs virtually and is helping families access essential items such as food, fresh fruits and vegetables, diapers, and formula. The nonprofit agency’s family counselors are helping families and children cope with the increased stressors of working and attending school from home, job losses, and housing insecurity.

Children’s Bureau invites the public to participate in this matching gift opportunity.  Funds raised will go directly toward helping Children’s Bureau continue to be responsive to the needs of the thousands of at-risk children and families served annually.  To make a donation, click here.

The Reissa Foundation is committed to addressing social issues and improving the lives of vulnerable populations in California and Texas.

Since 1904, Children’s Bureau has been a nonprofit leader in protecting vulnerable children through prevention, treatment and advocacy. The agency helps more than 50,000 at-risk children and parents each year throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties with services that include school readiness, parenting classes, family resource centers, support groups, mental health counseling, foster care, foster-adoption and more.
