New Family Resource Center Shines as a Beacon of Hope for Vulnerable Palmdale Children and Families
Yesterday, the Children’s Bureau of Southern California launched its latest site in Palmdale with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event, graced by Mayor Laura Bettencourt and Councilmembers Eric Ohlsen and Austin Bishop, promises improved services for vulnerable children and families in the Antelope Valley region.
The erstwhile Mulligan’s venue has been transformed to a community resource center, particularly for foster and adopted children and their families.
In accordance with the City of Palmdale’s announcement, the center promises to build resilience in these families with various programs and resources, such as Planting Prosperity, parenting resources, and family enrichment.
Cooperation with local agencies form the bedrock of this civic venture, ensuring the center operates optimally.
Article 1 extols the center’s mission to uphold the community, recognizing the Family Resource Center as a reflection of Palmdale’s commitment to its citizens.
