FOSTER FAMILIES NEEDED FOR LOCAL CHILDREN
Children’s Bureau Offering Virtual Orientation During Foster Parent Appreciation Month

(Palmdale, CA) – Children’s Bureau is seeking foster families during National Foster Parent Appreciation Month and now offers two virtual ways for individuals and/or couples to learn how to help children in foster care while reunifying with birth families or how to provide legal permanency by adoption.

If you or someone you know may be interested in learning more about foster care and adoption, a live English Zoom Orientation is scheduled for May 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. hosted by a Children’s Bureau team member and a foster parent. A Spanish Zoom Orientation is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on May 18th for those who prefer Spanish. For those who want to learn at their own pace about becoming a foster and/or fost-adopt parent, a PowerPoint orientation is also available.
