MCI Featured in National Conversation about “Building Communities, Building Hope”

The United States Children’s Bureau, a federal agency organized under the Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families, has selected Magnolia Community Initiative (MCI) as one of three real-world innovative examples of collaborative efforts to prevent child abuse.

MCI is featured in a series of videos and a discussion guide entitled “Building Communities, Building Hope,” encouraging communities across the country to begin a conversation and build commitment to how society should and can work collaboratively to help vulnerable children grow up to their potential and live free of abuse and neglect.

The California State Office of Child Abuse Prevention has also joined in promoting MCI and the video series across our state.

As the founding spark for Magnolia Community Initiative and a vital part of the MCI backbone, we are grateful for your commitment and support in helping us carry this worthy generational work forward.

We hope you take a moment to view MCI’s debut on the federal agency site or view the full length video here.
