Karalyn Ahmanson (Kara) is the Fundraising & Development Associate at Wilshire Boulevard Temple. With a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership and Management, she is passionate about serving others. Children's Bureau is a world-class organization that truly does make a difference. She is grateful for this opportunity to be associated with the organization.
Blake currently works in Sales at Flowspace, a logistics software company. In her free time, she is passionate about helping and teaching children, as well as volunteering within her community. She loves the work she does with Children’s Bureau and being able to make a difference in Los Angeles.
Chuka Christopher Ilochi is a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young providing financial accounting advisory services to its Americas clients. A British Nigerian expatriate, Chuka moved to Los Angeles in 2020 and is enthused by the prospect of contributing to local communities in the most important of ways: securing a bright future for children and assisting the most defenseless and disadvantaged. In his free time, Chuka can often be found not far from the ocean.
Haley Land is a Mental Health Clinician at a local non-profit. Haley earned her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Southern California to pursue her passion and purpose in serving children of vulnerable populations. A Central Coast native, she has been a part of the Los Angeles community for 6 years and is looking forward to working in company with fellow young professionals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families in the Los Angeles community.
Paul Bienaimé is a senior auditor at Ernst & Young's wealth and asset management sector. A Bay Area native, he's been part of the Los Angeles community for six years and wants to give back to the city he now calls home. He first joined the YPCB as an incoming professional and already values the relationships he's made and the opportunities at hand to make a difference for the communities around him. By joining the YPCB board, he hopes to engage with professionals around Los Angeles and bolster Children’s Bureau’s mission. In his spare time, Paul enjoys cycling in the mountains, reading, and cooking new foods with his friends and family.
Bhavana Sreepad is a student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is studying towards a fulfilling career in the medical field. Bhavana is passionate about child abuse prevention and spreading its awareness. As a survivor of child abuse, she hopes to become a voice for the unheard cries of children all over the world. She has made it her purpose to destigmatize the issue of child abuse and as the Volunteer Service Director with YCPB she hopes to work towards this goal. In her free time, Bhavana loves to spend time with her family and friends, explore new TV shows, and try new cuisines.
