Gunnar Kohl is currently a Tenant Advisor at CBRE in the Advisory and Transaction Services Group. Born and raised in LA, Gunnar joined YPCB to be part of a group that contributes time and effort to improving children’s lives and makes a positive impact on his hometown. He is excited to take on a leadership position at an organization that he has been involved with for over two years and join a new team dedicated to the mission of the Children’s Bureau.
Karalyn Ahmanson (Kara) is a student in Nonprofit Management who wants to have a career in Nonprofits. She is passionate about having a career in a field where every day is directly serving others and figuring out their needs. After visiting the Children’s Bureau facilities, she realized this is a perfect opportunity to create a safer learning environment for children as well as their families and communities.
Trenton Smith is an Account Executive at DonerLA, an advertising agency that focuses on delivering innovative and provocative advertising and media solutions to both established brands and bustling startups. Born and raised in Southern California, Trenton joined YPCB to work alongside fellow young professionals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families in the surrounding communities.
Paul Bienaimé is a senior auditor at Ernst & Young's wealth and asset management sector. A Bay Area native, he's been part of the Los Angeles community for six years and wants to give back to the city he now calls home. He first joined the YPCB as an incoming professional and already values the relationships he's made and the opportunities at hand to make a difference for the communities around him. By joining the YPCB board, he hopes to engage with professionals around Los Angeles and bolster Children’s Bureau’s mission. In his spare time, Paul enjoys cycling in the mountains, reading, and cooking new foods with his friends and family.
Bhavana Sreepad is a student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is studying towards a fulfilling career in the medical field. Bhavana is passionate about child abuse prevention and spreading its awareness. As a survivor of child abuse, she hopes to become a voice for the unheard cries of children all over the world. She has made it her purpose to destigmatize the issue of child abuse and as the Volunteer Service Director with YCPB she hopes to work towards this goal. In her free time, Bhavana loves to spend time with her family and friends, explore new TV shows, and try new cuisines.
Blake Pittman is an Associate at the Avison Young Downtown Los Angeles office, focusing on both tenant and landlord representation. She got involved with Children’s Bureau due to her passion for helping children and philanthropy. She joined YPCB to meet young professionals interested in making a positive impact on the children of Southern California and enjoys spending her time volunteering and fundraising for a cause close to her heart.
