Helping fathers navigate the journey of parenthood | #dadsmattertoo
The Dads Matter program from Children’s Bureau is lucky to be supported by one of the few sources of funding for working with dads, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In July, the Dads Matter program submitted a grant proposal that would enable us to continue services through October 2025. We expect to be notified of the outcome of our proposal in late September and we will provide an update on future services via email in October.
As we await confirmation we are unable to accept any new referrals. This will ensure that we can finish all expected services for clients before our current funding cycle ends in October. Current clients will not experience any service interruption and will continue to receive all services through their expected completion date.
Fathers and father figures are vital to children’s lives. The Dads Matter program supports father involvement through services which recognize and celebrate a father’s important role in every child’s development.
**Funding for Dads Matter was provided to Children’s Bureau by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant: # 90FK0110. These services are available to all eligible persons, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or religion.
