Young Professionals Orange County

About Young Professionals Orange County

Young Professionals Orange County is a group of young Children’s Bureau supporters who contribute to our mission through monthly donations, quarterly events, volunteer projects and an annual fundraising event. YPOC provides a meaningful way for young professionals to come together and expand their business networks while also giving back to the community. YPOC events help cultivate relationships  among motivated and intelligent professionals throughout Orange County. The network also activates professional growth via a speaker series featuring successful, high-ranking individuals in business.

The core of YPOC aims to evolve and progress alongside its members. The possibilities are endless and we hope you want to join us in making a difference in the community and growing as future leaders.

While YPOC Members contribute through $10/month donations, new guests are always welcome to attend YPOC Mixers at no cost. For more information, please contact us at ypoc@all4kids.org or 213.342.0144.

Jennifer Yi is the Business Development & Marketing Manager in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Jennifer got involved with YPOC because she believes in the vision and mission of the Children’s Bureau to help children live happy, healthy and successful lives. Jennifer also wanted to meet like-minded individuals who want to give back to the community and help provide opportunities for those who need it the most.
Lily Li
Lily Li
, Community Chair
Lily Li is a commercial and intellectual property litigator at the Irvine office of Brown Wegner McNamara LLP. As a transplant to Orange County, Lily has been overwhelmed by how close-knit and warm the local community has been to her. Lily believes that YPOC is a great way to give back to this same community, support the development of local kids, and have fun at the same time!
Genevieve Halpenny
Genevieve Halpenny
, Fundraising Chair
As an attorney with Fish and Tsang LLP in Irvine, Genevieve works with businesses to protect and monetize their intellectual property assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. For fun, Genevieve enjoys running, biking, and hiking in Orange County’s beautiful parks and beaches. Genevieve is inspired to work with the Children’s Bureau, because her grandma Nancy took her mother in as a foster child and provided her with constructive activities, like knitting and sewing, and most importantly safe passage into adulthood. Genevieve’s mom was lucky, and spreading the word about the Children’s Bureau ensures that more children will also grow up in a nurturing environment.
Andrew Franklin
Andrew Franklin
