Children's Bureau Welcomes New Board Member
ANAHEIM, CA - April 4, 2009
(Anaheim, CA) Children's Bureau is pleased to announce that John Collins has joined the Orange County Division Board. John, a long-time resident of Fountain Valley, has been a member of the Fountain Valley City Council since 1990. Five of those years he served as mayor. John has a strong background in the prevention of child abuse and is a published author and educator in the field.
Since 1904, Children's Bureau (www.all4kids.org) has been dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. The agency currently serves more than 7,000 families each year throughout Orange County with a variety of services that include in-home parent education, family resource centers, NuParent groups, mental health services, adoption, foster care and more.
