Children's Bureau Names Janie Wolicki as Director of Development for Orange County Division
ANAHEIM, CA - May 20, 2008

Children's Bureau is pleased to announce that Janie Wolicki has joined the nonprofit organization as director of development for its Orange County Division effective May 5. Ms. Wolicki's responsibilities include raising $600,000 annually in private support from Orange County individuals, corporations and foundations. She will also be responsible for board development and public relations efforts.

'Children's Bureau is extremely fortunate to have attracted a professional of Janie Wolicki's caliber,' said Carmine Salvucci, chief development officer for Children's Bureau. 'Her expertise, energy and enthusiasm will no doubt help to expand our fundraising and community relations efforts in Orange County,' he added.

Ms. Wolicki has 16 years of experience within the nonprofit community. Most recently, she was executive director for West County Family YMCA in Huntington Beach. For several years she was field director for the Boy Scouts of America, Orange County Council, and was an executive for the organization's Ventura County location. She is also involved with several organizations including the Rotary Club, Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, Robert Mayer Leadership Academy, Oak View Renewal Partnership Advisory Board and Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council. She earned her bachelor's degree in organizational behavior from New Mexico State University. 'Children's Bureau is an exemplary organization in both its fundraising and program efforts.
