Magnolia Place Community Initiative
Magnolia Place Community Initiative unites Children’s Bureau and Magnolia Place Family Center with more than 65 other nonprofit community organizations in an effort to create sustainable change for families, build neighborhood resiliency and become a national model for other vulnerable communities. Through this partnership, the Magnolia Place Community Initiative serves families well beyond the walls of the Center by transforming the community.

We believe that while social services are necessary to support struggling families and children, they alone can’t create complete change or build resiliency at the community level. But by bringing families, government and community together under one symbolic roof and helping families build support networks, we aim to significantly improve the overall health and well being of families and the surrounding community.

Magnolia Place Network seeks to include partners who share a commitment to the vision to improve the lives of children and families. Community residents will participate in a variety of roles throughout the organizational structure.
